People had a fun enough time with this last time and the cars have been replenished. Stolen, abandoned, or just plain shitty. Its anyone’s guess, well, sometimes that is...

New Silverado abandoned already? That’s sad...

Stolen, used in another crime, then ditched.

That’s even sadder yet. Hopefully someone will save it from it’s terrible fate.

If it has it wheels than yes. If no wheels it was probably stolen specifically for them.

I did work for a guy in Detroit that had a junk car for a decoy. Looked abandoned. He parked a faded Plymouth Laser hatchback on the street. Hidden In the garage was a brand new candy apple red Cadillac STS with wire wheels and a landau top.

Damn and it’s a short wheelbase e38.

Damn. How many of these do you see in a regular week? It’s like a different country out there.

Well I get the pictures from the seeclickfix page. A lot of people do forget how large Detroit is, square footage wise that is, makes it easy to do this kind of thing.

Fair enough. The very few people I’ve talked to that used to live in the area likely color my opinion.

Like any city, there are good parts and bad parts. The core, midtown and corktown are awesome and really gaining traction. We will have to see if some of the other area follow.

Those wheel-less late models are terrifying. I live in Memphis, which some refer to as the “Detroit of the South” because of the crime, but I have never seen anything like this down here. That’s crazy.

Memphis had Detroit beat in terms of crime at least once in the last few years iirc.
But yeah, new wheels are worth a ton used. Ive heard is since insurance companies wont buy new ones.

Yeah I guess it's just of a different type here. And it's usually pretty concentrated, so it's generally pretty easy to avoid

ran when parked?

Still probably runs..... Just needs the wheels and tires that were stolen.
